Pic story: carpenter makes wooden miniatures of farm tools

Yu Shengji examines a spinning wheel miniature crafted by him in Duchang County, east China's Jiangxi Province, Oct. 11, 2019. At age 74, Yu has been involved in carpentry for 58 years. In 2010, he began to make wooden miniatures of farm tools which are not only well-made, but also have moving parts of their own. By crafting these farm tool miniatures, he hopes he could recall China's pre-1980s farmland memories and re-expose people to the traditional way of farming. (Xinhua/Hu Chenhuan)
